Imlay Gallery, formerly Imlay Fine Art, was founded at the southern edge of the World Trade Center site shortly after 9/11 by independent curator Kathy Imlay, with the belief that fostering art in the area would lead to healing and regeneration.
Now located in Montclair, NJ, the gallery represents a diverse and compelling group of national and international contemporary artists. Our commitment is to cultivating the careers of emerging and mid-career artists by building institutional and critical awareness, and by supporting the artist's growth in the commercial market. Imlay Gallery’s diverse roster of artists is united in their uniqueness of vision, dedication to their craft and pure joy of sharing art-making with the world.
Our program of solo shows, and special installations off-site are dedicated to helping people understand and enjoy artworks within historical, cultural and social contexts. We have helped collectors build their collections and have collaborated with museums on exhibitions of artists we represent.
Imlay Gallery lead custom curated tours to Cuba.
